In high school, I often gave money to a beggar outside my school. He was half-blind, one arm amputated, and both legs damaged from poliovirus. He was in a wheelchair.

This type of beggar needs help, but others who are physically and mentally capable of working to earn a living but beg for easy money don’t deserve our charity.
